Daily Duties at Ventura County Credit Union:
Manage the accounting and facility functions as well as the outside relationships with the external auditors, regulators, and investment banker broker/dealer. Headed the ALCO (Asset Liability Committee) which entailed setting the agenda, reviewing the current and future financial position of the credit union, and formulating the strategic direction of the credit union. Interacted individually and through committees and board meetings with the Board of Directors to discuss various aspects the credit union. Managed the budgeting process, which reflected operating expenses of $15 million. Responsible for managing the investment portfolio of $200 million, as well as short and long term liquidity.
