Daily Duties at Ncpa:
• Worked as part of the communications team to ensure that community pharmacists are informed in all new information pharmaceutical related • Raised awareness for changing pharma laws and up-coming events and conventions • Proficient in state-of-the-art graphic design and layout programs such as Adobe Indesign, Photoshop and Illustrator • Responsible for layout and design of America’s Pharmacist Magazine and ads • Proficient in six, four, two and single color design and printing • Designed logos, set up templates and other graphic concepts to accommodate the clients’ needs • Designed advertisements submitted to news publications, such as Politico, The Hill and Rollcall • Managed and maintained in-house printers and photo copiers in the design studio • Served as a liaison between clients, project managers and designs to ensure that the information delivered was accurate and visually appealing • Prepared and pre-flighted final projects to ensure printer ready status • Responsible for implementing required/requested edits to text and/or design • Responsible for communication between design dept, clients and printers • Worked directly with webmasters to repurpose graphic designs for web delivery, ensuring 508 compliance
