Daily Duties at Duke Energy:

Managed scope of work and participating with OEMs in integrated life assessment and examination of vital parts of Generation Plant. Managed technical specification and tendered evaluation for the contract works of major equipment. Managed relationship with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) by maintaining continuous contact with them on product related advancements/ improvements in respect of performance, operation and maintenance as well as to coordinate with them to solve plant problems associated with their equipment. Managed improvements in the design, construction and choice of material based on the experiences gained from the units in service. Managed bidders during clarification meetings of extension projects for the required technical clarifications and also for minimizing deviations. Managed the selection of sub-Contractors, inspection and testing of equipment during engineering and manufacturing. Managed reliability of unit by conducting all functional tests and acceptance tests.
