Daily Duties at Ener1:

• System Performance Analysis - provided advanced analysis and solutions in support of the planning, operations, engineering, regulatory and financial needs of the company. • Functioned to perform system stability studies, analyze three-phase flows and switching, perform transient modeling, analyze geomagnetic currents, perform data modeling, and working with PS-CAD. • Conceptualized and produced design & engineering for alternative grid energy storage. • R&D for Battery Management System in controlling, health monitoring battery module for mobile peaking stations. • Power performance, efficiency studies, project planning, NEMA studies, and testing for energy module development. • Document project technical requirements document by decomposing ITO phase customer requirements • Create customer site acceptance documents and coordinate customer witness testing • Lead team to create all drawings required for a requisition including site layout, network connection diagram, equipment outline diagrams, civil works design, and other drawings required per customer request • Work in partnership with the Subsystems groups, Product Management, Sourcing, and Manufacturing and Quality to develop Grid energy storage systems • Formulate strategies for the integration of in-house and 3rd party equipment • Ensure compliance to all regulatory and country codes for a project • Lead the design review process for project deliverables • Support all customer technical reviews pre- and post-installation • Work with program and product management to implement plans to achieve technical performance and reliability requirements, schedules, and contract commitments • Develop action plans to anticipate and respond to problems • Monitor and communicate project status, business issues, and significant developments • Assure proper documentation for technical data is generated on Grid projects and subsystems • Ensure operational excellence in the areas of integrity, controllership and compliance • Assess current in house technologies against competing technologies and find optimum application solutions for ENER1 technology portfolio.
