• Managed 80 + Servers. • Deployed Windows 2000/2003 and Ubuntu servers, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange 2003/2007 • Implemented and deployed Microsoft GPO, AD, DNS, WINS, and DHCP, server. • Deployed Microsoft SQL 2000/2005 and Microsoft Internet Information Server 6.0 services, with Peer-Sync integration • Implemented and deployed Left-Hand Networks iSCSI SAN’s Clusters and Dell Power-Vault Direct Attach Storage Arrays. • Deployed and implemented a server consolidation initiative using VMWare ESX clusters which resulted in a 75% reduction in infrastructure size. • Deployed Blackberry Enterprise and WSUS Servers. • Implemented and deployed of backup servers, routine backups; local and remote server backups with VERITAS /Symantec Backup Exec and MS-NetBackup tool. • Implemented and deployed Symantec Antivirus servers and System console. • Monitored systems and network using What’s up Gold. • Setup of Linux IDS systems and Linux Proxy services. • Managed and deployment of Sun Microsystems Solaris 9/10 Unix Red-Hat Linux and Novell SLES 9/10 Linux servers. • Responsible Sarbanes-Oxley Act Data tape archiving, hardware inventory, and datacenter compliance. • Managed network backup operations and BM SAN Manager and Fiber SAN. • Deployed Windows 2000/XP to HP PC & DELL Laptop, and deployed HP printers. • Provided wire management for new PC installations and Printers, and asset tagging and inventory control for desktop rollout team. Desktop Rollout: installing new PC and Printers. • Troubleshooting of workstations and their applications and network connectivity problems • Basic trouble-shooting of network and local Printers • Imaged operating systems and software (Ghost & SYSPREP) on workstations and laptops • Hardware and workstation wire management • Asset tagging and inventory Control
