Daily Duties at National Video Tape Co., Inc.:
Managed the day to day branch duties and district sales. Hired, trained, cross-trained and managed all branch employees. Promoted within whenever possible. I reported directly to the President of the company. I generated weekly and monthly sales and branch status reports. I continued to prospect and bring in new sales as well as cultivate and maintain existing business. Working closely with FujiFilm, Sony, 3M and Panasonic I exceeded all annual sales quotas. I continually researched and brought in complimentary products and services for upselling and crossing selling adding to our profit margins and annual sales. Building a high level of trust and strong customer loyalty within our more demanding and credit worthy larger accounts I developed customized consignment programs. These programs increased our sales and profit margins as well as established an advantage over our competition. I built programs that would fit our large corporation purchasing demands to the small, limited budget producer's requirements creating profitable pricing structure based on an accounts purchasing power. These varied programs enabled my company to better supply and provide excellent products and services to all types of clientele. This also streamed lined our business culture and we became more profitable because of the change.
What they like about National Video Tape Co., Inc.:
Working for a company with an emphasis on social values and helping society is a clear and important priority for you - a critical factor in who you choose to work for. In contrast to other factors, you place an organization's reputation for fairness and concern for the community above most other aspects of the company. As you search for a new job opportunity, it is usually possible to find out if the company is involved in the community and/or if it is addressing problems and issues in society. Pay special attention to non-profit organizations and those specifically involved in social action. Moreover, speaking with current and former employees should enlighten you to perceptions of the fairness of the company's leaders and the treatment of employees.
