Daily Duties at Dyn Corp International:
• Develop, adapt, and implement strategic plans for global transportation operations to support contract requirements • Manage freight forwarding and transportation resources in various countries on international projects ensuring subcontract compliance and performance • Expedites cargo movement; resolves customs related issues or segment delays using logic and reasoning to identify alternate solutions, conclusions or approaches • Manage collection, synthesis and reporting of external environment data, internal trends, practices and utilization remaining to recommend process improvements • Collaborate with functional areas in conducting investigations and developing correction action plans for program transportation issues involving passenger terminals, container management, and central receiving and shipping yards • Develops Statements of Work (SOWs) for transportation related subcontracts and participates in source selection • Maintain current knowledge of market conditions that affect overall transportation and logistics performance ensuring service levels remain in place to meet contract obligations and performance requirements
