Leadership o Utilized and monitored the clinical skills of the nurses to provide appropriate assignments that meet their clinical skills. o Provided feedback on nurse, nursing assistants, and health unit coordinators evaluations. o Completed work schedules, delegated assignments and participated in corrective actions o Ensured appropriate workflow and direct care completion o Provided direct leadership and mentorship to staff Financial Stewardship o Flexed staff as appropriate o Monitored and managed overtime usage o Ensured appropriate par levels and supply use Clinical Management o Provided high quality direct, evidenced based nursing care: Skills: 12-lead EKGs, Telemetry monitoring, Peripheral and central IV Insertion, Central line access, Cardiac Med Drips, detained patient assessment/interventions, ACLS certification, Post Cardiac test/treatment, post open heart step-down, acute chest pain, post open heart step-down and complex heart failure o Mentored and trained nurses o Collaborated with provider and other members of the interdisciplinary team
