Daily Duties at Albemarle:
Operation Manager, Albemarle Orangeburg plant, 2009-present • Responsible for the operations of a chemical manufacturing plant with more than 20 diverse chemicals products including antioxidants, flame retardants, aluminum alkyl catalysts, and pharmaceuticals (Ibuprofen and Propofol) • Experience with safely manufacturing chemical products using highly hazardous raw materials, including aluminum alkyls, hydrogen cyanide, phenol and aniline. Robust PHA, PSM, and EHA systems implemented to safely control reactions with potential runaway capability. • Responsible for staff of 150 operators, sixteen foremen, eight engineers and three superintendents. Prioritized activities of fifty maintenance personnel and ten process technology staff.
