Daily Duties at Metrolink:

• Managed the accurate and timely check production, processing of employee expense reports, check requests and ticket reimbursements using Oracle R12 and Documentum. • Prepared monthly key accounts payable general ledger reconciliations. • Review and analyze accounts payable aging report for upper management review. • Accounts Payable invoice batch review and approval for posting. • Verify accuracy of encumbered funds, purchase orders, and accounts payable balances. • Review check requests to ensure expenditures comply with established agency guidelines. • Respond promptly to accounts payable inquiries from vendors, employees, and management. • Conduct special investigations and historical reviews to resolve problems. • Prepare, reconcile and issue annual 1099 tax report forms. • Review and process monthly and year-end accruals for operating expenses and capital (rehabilitation, new capital and capital equipment). • Coordinate with other finance staff to ensure suspense accounts are cleared by the close of each accounting period.
