Daily Duties at United Parcel Service:
Operations team member for a two year special assignment installing first automated dispatch planning system in United Parcel Service corporation. Manage and ensure the proper receiving, logging and warehousing incoming merchandise both from overseas and domestic shippers as well as customer returns Inventory - Participate in inventory control. Planning and Shipment preparation. Plan ahead with carriers for pickup. Load - Manage and ensure the proper loading of delivery vehicles with all the required labeling and paperwork as required by the customers. Manage basic EDI functions for shipping and receiving - UCC Label printing, ASN transmissions, working on ship manager, Bills of Lading, Packing List etc.
