Daily Duties at Keesler Medical Center:

Responsible for all aspects related to cost effective, high quality health care services for over 37,000 patients. Directly supported 47 professional staff members generating over, 400 outpatient appointments daily throughout practice. Coordinated all health care issues with primary and sub-specialty clinics, ensured optimal quality and patient access according to managed care contract. Planned, implemented, recommended, coordinated, monitored, and evaluated specific functions, services, programs and facilities associated with department activities with emphasis on improving clinical/business performance, customer satisfaction and employee relations. Revamped clinic appointment template to increase appointment availability and adjust appointment type available to patients. Productivity in increased by 45% by adding appropriate appointment types based on the needs of the customers. Customer satisfaction increased from 70% to 95% with favorable comments regarding appointment availability, overall clinic and staff. Developed phenomenal marketing campaign to customers regarding health care advice/education, benefits and partnership with provider. Serving as customer service manager as well, ensured customer concerns/complaints were addressed and resolved within 24 hours. Financial Manager for $2.4 M equipment account, $900,000 operating budget, and all negotiated contracts. Provided training to professional and support staff regarding operational changes and departmental updates.
