Oversee agency service for 70-80 ships per month for HOVENSA, one of the 10 largest petroleum refineries in the world with a capacity of about 500,000 barrels per day, with a workforce of more than 2,500 Assisted company in enforcing and maintaining adherence to workplace rules and regulations, while supervising boarding agents personnel and contract workers in day to day ship operations Scheduled and conducted ship agency safety meetings, observations and walkthroughs. Provided hands-on leadership to 5-person team of boarding agents Prepared quotations and all billings for vessel calling at the port Processed agency accounts payable/receivable Implemented agents shift change and requirements Bills of Lading / cargo manifest Preparation Track shipments Customer service communication
