Daily Duties at Large Hauler Hhg And Spec Comm:

• Contract Administration –reviewing pending contracts and making appropriate risk management changes. Negotiating with customer to find a balance and agree on SOW. • Pricing bids using current Van Line guidelines in addition to company guidelines when riding on our paper. • Leader of TAG Group (tonnage acceptance group) responsible for covering shipments either utilizing company assets, Van Line assets or brokering to third party Carriers. • Securing both LTL and TL shipments by creative use of pricing theories in place and analyzing current capacity (working hands on in Operations). • Coordinating outside Carriers when unable to utilize current asset capacity. • Dispatching shipments after planning. • Supervisor of backhaul program and outbound brokerage. • Computer system training for employees. • Pricing and market analysis for the Brokerage division and pricing for company core business. • Sales support. • Working with I.T. to make suggested changes to Operating systems. A member of the ERP management team (group of operational experts put together to develop a new operating platform). • HHG Customer Service Group and Claims Management. Working side by side with the Move Coordinators and Claims Adjusters. Handling dispute resolutions and the day to day occurrences associated with Move Coordination and the handling of customer claims. • Training the newest members of our team and adding support. • Lead in container program. • Billing disputes and claims resolution. • Adapted policies with relation to the interaction of the Move Coordinators and the HHG Operations Team.
