Daily Duties at The Lee Company Valve And Pri Groups:
Responsible for supervision of model shop & tool room, schedule and delegation of projects, performance evaluations, researching equipment for capital purchases, maintaining necessary tool and stock levels, preventative maintenance on machinery, personal safety compliance and training/developing machinist. Daily duties include: Disarm & Unlock building, start shop computers & equipment, check email, voicemail & work sign-in sheet for changing priorities. Operate tool room equipment (CNC Lathes – Hardinge CHNC & Conquest T42, Manual Lathes – Tool Room, Engine, Chucker & Levin Mini Lathe, CNC Milling Machines – Miyano 3axis miller & Prototrak Bed Mill, Manual Mills – Bridgeport & Servo Mini Mill, CNC Sodick Wire EDM, Sinker EDM, Mold Press, Surface Grinders, Tool Post, & Universal Grinders, Vertical & Horizontal Saws, Drill press, Heat Treat Furnace, Sand Blaster, spring coiler, microscopes, HD Video camera & hand tools) to produce prototype parts, tools, jigs & fixtures needed to support engineering and manufacturing department.
