Found and supervised improvement of bricks-and-mortar retail space, first in a town center and then in a suburban strip mall. Ordered and managed all inventory. Designed and supervised building of custom organizers for shop space. Studied competitors to merchandise seasonal products differently. Met with suppliers and customers. Supervised one paid employee and volunteering by three family members. Developed, managed and implemented all marketing activities. Wrote and designed all monthly postcards, quarterly newsletters and website content. Assisted suppliers in text editing for instructional materials and in merchandising for trade shows.
