Daily Duties at First National Bank:

Built a 100 million dollar portfolio by meeting with bank and non bank clients developing a financial plan that covered all aspects pertinent to their financial success. Unlike most advisors, I also managed the money through our fee-based platform making all buy and sell recommendations and placing all trades. Utilizing my degree in Investment Management, my clients were able to get professional money management as well as financial planning at their local bank. Built a huge referral network with commercial lenders, private bankers, insurance agents, attorneys and trust department personnel that helped to generate clients for each area of the bank. Would meet with all clients on a quarterly basis to review prior quarter to ensure client was satisfied with my work and the performance of their portfolio. Worked as an intern with the bank from May of 1999 until January 2001, taking all evening classes at Duquesne University allowing me to work and go to school full-time.

What they like about First National Bank:

You highly value a work environment built on a formal structure, rules, and regulations. You do not enjoy the unpredictability of shifting priorities and deadlines that upset your routine. You require and enjoy direction, input and accountability as part of your work environment. You have a strong need to participate in making key decisions and feel left out if your superiors or co-workers do not seek your input when making decisions. You thrive on providing good customer service to both internal or external customers, and doing so makes you feel good.
