Daily Duties at Advanced Surgical Associates, Ltd.:

Practice Administrator responsible for developing strategies for both supervisors and support staff, while implementing policies and procedures, while promoting team work and pride in being part of the group. Duties include daily operations, payroll, HR, 401K administration, Month end bookkeeping, meeting with accounts to assure accurate accounting quarterly, and coordination of all operations through four front line supervisors. • Set up line of credit for practice, negotiated a rate of .25 over prime. Also negotiated equipment loans at the same rate. • With the billing supervisor worked to reduce the A/R to at or below MGMA best practices. • Generated a positive work environment by including the staff in meetings to work out patient flow problems. • Established up to date Human Resources policies and develop other procedures to assure the practice is following all compliance rules state and federal. This includes OSHA, HIPPA policies • Recently implemented eClinical Works, Was responsible for scheduling training with the Physicians, management team and Staff. • Facilitated our move to our current facility. The move was over a weekend that included a Friday. We were able with planning able to have the phone operating within two hours, and the computer equipment up and running in four hours. When office opened on Monday everything worked perfectly.
