Daily Duties at Foreign Tire Sales,Inc:
Oversee all legal matters with regard to regulation, compliance, litigation, personnel/human resources, insurance, and international business partnerships. Negotiate and create contract terms for foreign partnerships and purchase agreements. Provide counsel to CEO on vendor contracts, Chinese contract law, and intellectual property management. Partner with engineering teams to ensure compliance with all applicable laws as well as development of high-quality, safe products. Drive quick resolution to product recalls while directing quality and replacement initiatives. Develop a warranty adjustment program and trademark associations in China, Mexico, and South America. Resolve trade and customs issues through negotiation with governmental and foreign entities. Draft and review all vendor agreements to meet current business standards. Direct government regulation compliance as mandated by Department of Transportation (DOT), Department of Homeland Security, Customs and Border Protection and other governmental agencies.
