Daily Duties at Lucent Technologies :

Employed within AMPS / PCS Wireless Division, responsible for the planning and scheduling of CDMA wireless development projects for the Lab Environment Operations Management Team (LEOM). When Hired on I was responsible for the 160 person department budget and disaster recovery project as well as managing the day to day CDMA development management. Responsible for technical and management oversight on multiple projects leading CDMA product features to completion through action items and weekly meetings. Drive process and policy change throughout the organization. Responsible for many various teams consisting of 3 members to 20 member teams. Develop track and control department budgets of approx $60M. Present project status to Sr. Mgt of LEOM. Manage and increase effectiveness and efficiency of company process an procedures. Provide support to Project director. Supervise and maintain company training programs and requirements. Roll out of Disaster recovery planning and documentation. Responsible for facilities and engineering techs to lay out lab wiring and configurations. Responsible for the project budgets and financial reporting to Sr. Mgt. Presenting monthly metrics to team members to look for trends and problem areas of processes. Supported all department goals and KPIs Key performance parameters. Work with LEOM team cross functional team members from NJ and Chicago. Roll out of new processes and metrics for both sites to present to Sr. Mgt. Generate LEOM website to update 160 member team of new changes in process and policy. Interact with multiple customers ranging from Verizon, Sprint, Nextel and AT&T. Defining requirements for 5ESS, Network and MSC /Engineering Teams. New projects consist of: OneBTS, GSM, UMTS plus several lower impact projects. Achieved on-time delivery of service to customer rating 98%, drove Customer Satisfaction to highest rating (green) with a 100% rating over the final quarter. Knowledge of wireless technology, such as PCS 1900MHz and Cellular 850 MHz.
