Daily Duties at Community Support Specialist:

Providing direct clinical supervision of all staff members who worked with individuals diagnosed with severe and persistent mental illness. Responsible for the administrative supervision of all program staff, including orientating, training, supervising, and evaluating staff. Staff may include licensed therapists, interns, trainees, rehabilitation specialists, and support staff. Developed a system for coordinating referrals and assigning cases to appropriate staff. Performing quality improvement activities and working with the Executive Director to develop new services and to expand treatment services. Represent the program in the community, including with other public and private agencies, especially Mental Health, the Probation Department, Social Services, and school districts. Develop, maintain and implement policies and procedures for the program.
