Daily Duties at Covance Market Access Services:

- Conducts insurance verifications, facilitate prior authorizations, perform reimbursement case management - Support payer advocacy efforts to overturn negative payer policies. - Identify program trends and opportunities for intervention with payers and provide recommendations. - Provider claim support services. - Additional responsibilities would include counseling of Medicare Part D patients, monthly Medicare Part D reports, staff trainings on new standard operating procedures, and individual weekly reports. Supervise the operations of Medicare Part D database and is responsible for all trainings and updates for the program. Knowledgeable in Part D benefits, such as TrOOP, LIS, and enrollments. Works with CMS to help patients with signing up for a PDP or MAPD. Utilizes the CMS website to view enrollment and possible policy changes. Participated in Siebel database testing and have been part of two releases for the database. Supports the development of the team by doing system data checks and follow up. - Review difficult or special exception cases and provider recommendations. - Serve as escalation point for complex reimbursement calls, difficult callers and customer complaints. - Serve as subject matter expert and led technical expertise. - Responsible for generating standard reports. - Conduct training of new services as needed.
