Daily Duties at Ohio Army National Guard :

Six years of experience as the program manager of the Ohio Army National Guard (OHARNG) Communication Security (COMSEC) Programs. Responsible for both technical and analytical work pertaining to the planning, formulating, managing and distributing resources to numerous small group level program managers. Directly responsible for developing, planning and implementation of the current OHARNG COMSEC training program. I have the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and directly responsible for training Soldiers, on average of 40 small group level program managers per year. Responsible for ensuring group level program managers understand how to manage high value, high profile and sensitive resources and materials; annually inspecting small group program managers to ensure they are following governmental regulatory guidance and reporting small group program manager’s performance to management within various levels of the organization. As a program manager I generate reviews/oversee preparation of all related documentation; conduct program reviews and meetings. I work independently under various Army regulations and guidelines or objectives set by my supervisor. I have used methods and techniques such as contracting procedures/legal requirements for the COMSEC Program and performed cost analyses and budgets for equipment purchases. I have experience in evaluating, analyzing, developing, managing, or improving tactical communications systems. I have written procedures COMSEC SOPs in support current developments and trends in communications concepts and technology using black key encryption for various pieces of tactical communications equipment
