Headquarters Tanker Airlift Control Center Work Values

Daily Duties at Headquarters Tanker Airlift Control Center:

 Responsible for USAF Air Mobility Command's worldwide KC-10 and KC-135 airlift, humanitarian airlift, Presidential airlift, and air refueling scheduling  Coordinates short notice air refueling requirements for United States Air Force (USAF), United States Navy (USN), and United States Marine Corps (USMC) strategic and tactical airlift  Department of Defense (DOD) and Air Mobility Command validator for all missions.  Identified, resolved, and documented multi-command in-flight emergencies and flight deviations  Principle liaison for all special operations, reconnaissance and Global Power missions requiring air refueling  Provided planning expertise to Air Combat and Control (Langley Air Force Base, Virginia / USAF) and US Central Command (MacDill Air Force Base, Tampa Florida / USAF) for air expeditionary operations  Key advisor lead to Tanker Airlift Control Center (Scott Air Force Base, IL / USAF), Air Mobility Command (Scott Air Force Base, IL / USAF), and US Transportation Command (Scott Air Force Base, IL / USAF) staff members and USAF Generals for both deliberate and time-sensitive concepts  Lead coordinator of operations plans involving the use of all Department of Defense air refueling aircrafts  Planned, validated, and directed support for contingency deployments, employments and requirements for all of the USAF and sister services, including special mission in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Noble Eagle (Presidential mission), and Operation Fundamental Justice
