Daily Duties at Century Link (Formerly Qwest):
Create, modifies, and maintains as-built/engineering drawings using AutoCAD 2012 • Interface with other areas or department to identify and resolve issues • Complete detailed drawings to scale • Create Inside Plant (floor plans & rack elevation) and Outside Plant (fiber route & detail) drawings and one-line diagrams from engineering field notes using AutoCAD • Create maps using commercially available imagery • Create spreadsheets (i.e., Cable Running Lists, Table of Contents, Revision Logs) using MS Excel • Update drawing files for all sites from redlined as-built drawings supplied by engineers • Maintain project status spreadsheet, update CAD/Engineering managers as required • Convert AutoCAD drawings to PDF files
