Teaching courses in software engineering and architecture; consulting for the U.S. Army on architecture and engineering issues relevant to the Future Combat Systems project, and for the U.S. Department of Defense on methods, processes, and tools through the new Systems Engineering Research Center (SERC); contributing to the Lean Model–Based Software Engineering (Lean MBASE) method of the CSSE. Led research on costing the acquisition and development of secure systems for Aerospace Corporation and for Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
