Lateral hire experienced police officer and charter member of the Federal Way Police. The Federal Way Police was a start-up agency in 1996. Patrol Officer assigned to conduct routine patrol, respond to calls for service or self generated calls during shifts on a scheduled rotation. Promoted laterally to Detective in March 1997. Assigned as the Lead Child Abuse Detective. Investigated felony crimes including; Child Abuse, Sexual Abuse, Assault, Robbery, Homicide, Rape, Kidnapping, Fraud, Forgery, Extortion, Computer Crime, Harassment, Telephone Harassment, Narcotics violations including Possession, Distribution, and other crimes.
