Daily Duties at Us Army Criminal Investigation Command (Usar):
US Army Reserve Criminal Investigation Division Accredited Special Agent (1997-2010) Retired Conducted a broad range of training responsibilities with an emphasis on creating and integrating a comprehensive 5- year training plan which was required to incorporate mandatory training. Created lesson plans, analyzed training initiatives, and educated students regarding criminal law, crime scene investigation, interview and interrogations, weapons qualifications for all assigned weapons including the Sig Sauer P228, the H&K MP 5 sub-machine gun, the M16 and the M4 rifles. • Led qualification ranges and ensured that assigned agents were prepared to mobilize and deploy. • Developed lesson plans and conducted training for newly assigned Special Agent's covering specialized protective service skills, including weapons qualifications, High Speed Anti-Terrorism Evasive Driving, Motorcade driving, Attacks on Principal Evacuations, Counter-surveillance operations, Travel Mission Advance surveys and other subjects. • Educated agents on Protective Service Operations in a Combat Environment including Range Operations, Evacuation of Principals, Actions on Contact, Coordinating with Support, Conducting Pre-Mission Site Surveys, High Risk Motorcade Operations, and other training as required.
