Daily Duties at Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company:
As one of the first employees at a remote work site (Edwards Air Force Base, Palmdale, CA) I was expected to do anything necessary to facilitate the smooth transfer, integration and testing of the Airborne Laser program and it's Beam Control Fire Control system from the laboratory environment to a functioning,flight-test ready program. This took the form of work-site preparation, delivery of equipment, installation and integration, technical documentation preparation, editing and testing. Once the program was integrated onto the 747-400 aircraft, my position transitioned into supporting the mechanical, electrical and optical engineering groups as the resident Quality Assurance engineer, Laser Safety Officer and Calibrated Tool coordinator.
