Daily Duties at Amedisys Home Health :
Field nurse working in Pensacola, Gulf Breeze, and Pensacola. I travel from home to home seeing patients for their Cardiac diagnosis, hypertension, diabetes, chronic renal failure, wound care, labs, high cholesterol, etc. Teaching patients and families on how to manage their health with proper diet, exercise, medications, disease process. I report all abnormal findings, triage the patient, report to pts doctors and nurses and follow their plan of care for the patient. I work closely with my case manager and team.
