Daily Duties at Aventis Pasteur:
Meet and exceed sales quotas for assigned pediatric and adult vaccines and Desmopressin Acetate (which is a drug for bed wetting). I Called on Pediatritions, Family Practitioners, Urologist (with the Desmopressin), public health departments, Indian Health. Achieve territory sales forecast quota. Direct all correspondence to the Division Sales Manager on business conditions, competitive climate, and existing buisness opportunities. Precall analysis. Detail the physician and locate and sell to the buying authority. Organize and deliver a persuasive presentation relating to Aventis Pasteur products to the customers needs. Be able to overcome all objections. Control the interview. Listen carefully and ask pertinent questions. Use sales aids effectively. Ask for the order, evaluate the effectiveness of every call (post-call analysis). Plan effective routing and allocation of time. Keep accurate and up-to-date records. Maintain accuracy of call reporting. Prospect for new pediatric physicians and nurses. Work with the physician, RN, and office purchasing agent to obtain adequate inventory level. Exercise good judgement when spending money and do so in a manner that maximized value per dollar. Work as a team sales person and help maintain company morale.
