Daily Duties at Waffle House:

• Manage 60-80 non-exempt employees and 3 store managers. • Developed systems to effectively control costs through economical utilization of personnel, materials and equipment by managing 2.5% in operating, 19% payroll and a 29.9% food cost. • Delegate to build a strong and self-functioning team while maintaining a 95-110% staffing goal. • Provide training and consisting coaching to new and existing staff members and management. • Ensure all journal and data entries are accurate and performed in a timely manner. • Effectively resolve conflicts between employee needs and requirements of the organization. • Encourage accountability throughout the organization by making sure all units reach their profit and loss budgets by at least 1.1% under our target goal. • Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures. • Communicate with Division/Area Manager on a regular basis to resolve current issues and help develop new opportunities’ to improve customer service.
