Served as the Environmental and Safety Engineer for 100K Waste Site Remediation. Managed six environmental programs and provided environmental filed operational direction, supervision and oversight for the Groundwater and Soils Remediation Project and Construction activities. Ensured work-scope and implementation plan were conducted according to approved regulatory decision documents and remedial action goals. Reviewed and analyzed environmental and sampling data recommended solutions and made decisions. Single point of contact for regulatory interface coordinating negotiations and approvals with DOE and regulators for environmental and remedial action closure documents. Provided management and project personnel with environmental updates, presentations, reports and training regarding changes in environmental hazards and conditions, safety and cultural biological and ecological issues. Conducted environmental and safety compliance inspections identifying hazardous and non-compliant conditions in waste sites and facilities, making recommendations and issued corrective actions communicating to project management, staff and contractors. Responded to and conducted investigations of spills and anomalies ensured safe, appropriate and timely clean-up.
