Check patient profile to ensure prescribed medication was clinically necessary to treat conditions and cost effective. . Bubble packed medication in various package forms for delivery to care based facilities. Verified accuracy of drugs packaged for delivery by technicians before leaving pharmacy. Resolved third party claims requiring prior authorization therapy approval.Supervised technicians during daily pharmacy operations. Set up new client accounts for prescription processing and third party billing. compound medications,using standard formulas and processes, such as weighing measuring and mixing ingredients. dispense medications, support/counsel nursing facility staff on the use of prescription and over the counter medications, and advise physicians about medication therapy. Support customer after hours, weekends and holidays through on call support process. assisted in the development of quality improvements and prescription order accuracy. •Complies with state and federal drug laws as regulated by the state board of pharmacy, the drug enforcement administration, and the food and drug administration by monitoring nursing unit inspections;
