Daily Duties at Newmont Mining:
Developed a corporate energy efficiency management program that established a cohesive force in driving energy conservation and environmental responsibility worldwide. The program, in close coordination with the research lab, worked on comminution efficiency since it is the single biggest energy consumption of a mine. Developed an energy efficiency and energy recovery program in conjunction with regional management and site teams in order to minimize Newmont’s energy costs. Established a path for Newmont to become ISO 50001 compliant
