Daily Duties at Beazer Homes:
1.Managed the claims generated within the Beazer insurance programs, construction defect litigation, general liability (bodily injury/property damage), Homeowner warranty claims, 1st party property, auto, workers compensation, employment practices, fiduciary and crime claims. 2.Control expenses through the third party administrator, internal loss billing allocation 3.Manage the claim recovery/policy exhaustion process in Beazer’s Lloyds of London excess policies, 4.Review and provide opinion on coverage position letters from outside insurance companies, 5.Review insurance endorsements provided from subcontractor base to determine if acceptable with the Beazer insurance requirements 6.Review insurance requirements on land projects 7.Provide insurance training to paralegals and field personnel as needed 8.Train and supervise Beazer personnel in the self administrated claims, tenders and Beazer’s recovery process for various states. Risk Management Program Design 1.Compiled loss data for risk management. legal and accounting departments 2.Provide monthly and quarterly loss and warranty reports to varies departments in the organization and outside insurance companies 3.Manage and track data on large warranty claims 4.Participate in the overall renewal process of the Beazer Insurance program, by providing and analyzing loss data, 5.Negotiating service contacts with our claim and engineering services 6.Personally manage the renewal process in the employment practice line of coverage, and special HOA renewals for the field
