Daily Duties at Cisco Systems: World Wide Distribution Strategy And Planning:

Contract project manager as a SME to assist Cisco WW distribution with the transition to a new distribution coverage model for Tier 2 partners after the closing of Partner Advisor. My major duties were to assist in creating new partner onboarding processes to be carried out Cisco's 170 individual distributors. I worked with the Distribution Accelerated Partner team to create Getting Started campaign materials to be used by distributors to orient new partners to doing business with Cisco such as outbound calling scripts, direct emails, and marketing materials for both internal distribution employees as well as external audiences (partners = resellers) In addition to the above, I created a distributor survey to acquire the demographics of each company's dedicated to Cisco resources (ie....how many hunters they had, how many shared employees that might take a Cisco call and then a HP call, how many dedicated only to Cisco employees, details on specific certifications, capabilities and unique value propositions. This survey was for all 170 Cisco distributors in all 3 Theaters (APJC, EMEAR, and America's). I sorted the data into excel file and created pivot tables to analyze the data. I created a "Zero Dollar" email survey targeting partners who had not bought any Cisco products or services in the last year to acquire data to determine why they had not purchased. Onboarding Project I also worked with individual Theaters to research specific additional country requirements to Onboard new to Cisco partners. This required leading calls with Chinese and Russian team to document specific processes. In addition, I worked with Cisco Brand protection to determine contractual legalities necessary in the onboarding process. Created a project proposal designing the optimal process flow for a new reseller to become vetted to resell Cisco.
