• Worked from blueprints and engineering schematics to install varied avionics systems to meet requested customer configurations in a helicopter manufacturing environment • Routed wiring as set forth by manufacturing work orders • Terminated wiring as required to include coaxial and triaxial connectors and solder-type contact pins, Mil-Spec contacts and connectors, Rockwell-Collins forked pins and connectors, Alumel-Chromel wiring, and single and multiple stranded shielded wiring. • Dressed wire terminations for durable and permanent electro-magnetic interference shielding utilizing abrasion preventative over-braid, Amphenol style EMI connectors, GlenAir style backshells, braided sheilding, split-rings, solder-sleeve drains, split rings, heat shrink, fiberglass tape, nylon tape and stainless steel bands. • Secured routed wires neatly utilizing Adel clamps, lacing tape, zip-ties, F4 tape, TC92’s. • Removed and wiring and components as dictated by work orders. • Utilized various avionics tooling to include AF8’s, AFM8’s, HX4’s, DMC hydraulic crimp tool, crimp turrets, crimp positioners, crimp dies, splice crimpers, terminal crimpers, forked pin crimpers, Fluke multi-meters, heatguns, Ideal wire strippers, Banding tools, cable-tie guns, 6 inch scales, soldering irons, Xacto knifes, and mega-ohmeters.
