Daily Duties at Computer Sciences Corporation:

• Performed installation and upgrade of numerous avionics systems to include electronic countermeasures, digital cockpit control and monitoring systems, Electronic Internal Barrier Filter, Health Use and Management Systems (HUMS), Blue Force Tracker, GAS-1 (GPS), aircraft armament systems’ electronics (AIM-9, Hellfire), APX-118 Identification Friend or Foe, and wireless intercommunication systems. • Routinely performed wire and cable termination of DS3899 type II/ III connectors and various coaxial, triaxial, and 1553 data bus connectors • Installed Adel clamps, lacing tape, and cable ties to secure new and existing cable and wire harnesses as prescribed in the Navair 01-1A-505-1/ TO 1-1A-14/ TM 1-1500-323-24-1 military wiring publication. • Utilized various wire repair and installation tools daily. • Exercised strong customer service and communication skills to debrief and update customers on project progress and needs. • Worked from engineering blueprints and wiring schemas daily • Troubleshot and repaired all discrepancies, both pre-existing and newly discovered, found on aircraft as needed. • Performed operational checks and system certifications on newly installed and upgraded system. • Performed minor structural and cosmetic repairs and alterations as needed (i.e. Drilling screws holes, installing grounding studs, burnishing grounding points, painting blemished areas from metal work, riveting electrical receptacle brackets)
