Daily Duties at United States Marine Corps:

Delegated maintenance tasks to personnel to ensure timely completion of priorities as set forth by the maintenance control office • Documented maintenance actions performed by technicians under my charge to guarantee accurate representation of the avionics related maintenance actions for superiors and statistical data reporting • Enforced training policies as set forth by the Naval Aviation Maintenance Program • Ensured maintenance actions were performed as per technical publications, naval aviation maintenance guidelines, local standard operating procedures, and OSHA regulations. • Tested, troubleshot, repaired, upgraded and maintained communications, navigation, electrical, counter-measures and armament equipment on H-1 aircraft weapon systems. • Used multi meters, various test sets, hand tools, wire strippers, wire crimp tools, ground support equipment (GSE), torque wrenches and the like to troubleshoot and repair cannon plugs, wires, coaxial cables, and triaxial cables. • Performed in depth troubleshooting to isolate faulty transistors, radios, logic based components, analog/digital gauges, displays, antennas, relays, switches, tachometers, pressure sensors, circuit breakers, remote controlled circuit breakers, valves, motors, igniters, servos, pumps, motion transducers, magnetic brakes and various other electromechanical components. • Exercised a working knowledge of engine and rotor mechanics, flight control linkages, hydraulic systems, fire extinguishing systems, and cartridge activated devices. • Worked from blueprints to perform airframe changes (AFC’s) and modifications to aircraft.
