Daily Duties at Newmont Mining Corporation:

Developed and implemented third corporate drafting / graphics department while supporting all departments and levels within Denver corporate structure and all field offices with AutoCAD Map / LDD, AutoCAD and ArcInfo. Performed hardware / software installations and configurations ensuring efficient working environment, acted as liaison between AutoCAD users in domestic and international offices providing training and telephone technical support. Handled drafting design for Gold Quarry, Deep Star, Deep Post, Minera Yanacocha, Batu Hijau, Ahafo, Martabe, and Grassy Mountain Reclamation for Gold Mining, as well as, spearheading Windows95 Conversion directive. Oversaw cross-functional team meetings between Denver graphics personnel and I.T. Department assessing workstation requirements and scheduling, and researched existing and new, hardware / software, performed configuration, testing and debugging for converted graphics workstations.
