Daily Duties at Sma Microsystems, Llc:
Managed LAN, VPN, and all routers and switches on the site. Conducted systems backups and maintained an active directory for user accounts, updates, and security on a daily basis. Set up monitoring techniques in regard to an automation process. Served as technical writer for projects to ensure quality control. Performed batch editing/writing to assist in a fully automated environment. Informed the chain of command of new upgrades and latest interventions. Provided Tier 2 and Tier 3 on-site support in a Windows environment. Set up and configured IBM xSeries 206, 220, and 205 servers. Worked directly with Windows 2000/2003 Edition Server. Configured Cisco routers 2600 series in accordance with customer specifications.
