Supported company profit margin goals by implementing centralized purchasing system from the pre-existing decentralized system. Managed procurement, material control, contract negotiations, shipping and receiving. Five-site inventory management responsibility for centralized purchasing. Leadership of 10 Sales, Inventory Control and Purchasing employees. Implemented purchasing policies for stock, non-stock, outside services and other general services purchases. Responsible for achieving peak employee performance levels of 13 employees related to safety standards, quality control procedures and required documentation. Provided performance evaluations, employee training, and disciplinary actions.
