Daily Duties at Mac Aulay Brown Inc:
Managed the day-to-day office and field operations for federal contractor (MacAulay Brown, Inc.) in support of the Department of Defense community; specifically, the 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group (309 AMARG) at Davis -Monthan AFB, Arizona. Supervised 80 contract personnel performing critical aerospace maintenance and regeneration capabilities for war fighters in support of global operations and combat support for a wide range of military operations. Assisted in the preparation/production of task order proposals in accordance with Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Fair Opportunity Notice (FON). Researched information in support of bidding process for Depot Operations Contract Augmented Team (DOCAT) endeavors. Conducted investigations and provided remedies in response to customer and employee complaints/concerns. Managed the recruitment process using the standard recruiting and hiring methods necessary to recruit and hire a superior work force. Executed all employee disciplinary actions in accordance with State and Federal labor laws, as well as, company policies and procedures. Performed work associated with Firm Fixed Price (FFP) and Time and Materials (T&M) contracts. Ensured compliance with pay rates and benefits provided to employees in accordance with the appropriate Wage Determination under the Services Contract Act. Performed cost analysis of personal protective equipment (PPE) and medical examinations for incorporation into task order proposals. Generated performance metrics in accordance with contractual guidelines. Compiled and generated monthly reports for the program office and corporate office. Completed purchase requisitions for all funding requirements. Ensured timely submission of requested technical progress reports, Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRL), and performance metrics. Performed market research to determine availability of pertinent resources and ensured best value to government. Served as site Environmental Safety and Health officer (ESHO) and Facility Security Officer (FSO) ensuring compliance with all security and force protection requirements. Developed and/or revised policies, procedures, and local operating instructions as necessary to ensure compliance and a safe work environment. Collaborated with the Program Manager on strategic efforts. Spoke at Transition Assistance Program Seminars (TAPS) as invited by the Department of Workforce Services to discuss interview techniques/tips, resume writing, employment after the military, etc. Conducted new employee orientation and paperwork. Prepared and conducted training as required on an individual basis, as well as, for larger employee populations ranging from 70 to 80 personnel. Processed payroll for all employees on a biweekly basis. Maintained constant communication with senior program manager, corporate office, employees, team leads, and customer to ensure all needs were being met.
