Daily Duties at Radiology & Imaging Of S Tx:
• Oversee daily operations of the business office staff (currently 15 employees) • Implement and maintain practice management system, electronic billing, coding, EFTs, paperless and scanning systems, thus allowing downsizing and saving on FTEs • Work closely with facility director, ensuring proper registration and prior authorizations are obtained. • Interview, hire, train and handle annual evaluations, maintain low employee turnover • Develop and implement business office policies and procedures • Monitor and reduce A/R, consistently meeting collections quotas • Review and analyze managed care contracts to ensure payments received are per negotiated contracts • Working manager, familiar with all responsibilities assigned to employees • Maintain all practice system master files such as procedure codes/charges, insurance carriers and referring physicians • Communicate to both the CEO and physicians on a monthly basis, review the status of the A/R- review days in A/R and continually meeting quota of maintaining A/R over 90 days at 15%
