Daily Duties at W. P. Carey Inc. :
Proactively reached out to roughly 11,000 financial advisors on a daily basis by successfully completing 50+ calls a day to increase the knowledge of all W. P. Carey products for two external wholesalers. Each phone call was different and required a specific skill set: sales calls, extensive product questions, effective scheduling, problem solving and account management. In working with my two external wholesalers, we reported directly to the National Sales Manager and President of Carey Financial, LLC. In my team of internal wholesalers I was viewed as the product expert of all W. P. Carey products and was frequently relied upon for detailed information on the products and specific account questions. In supporting two external wholesalers, I was also solely responsible for scheduling and executing all meetings. This job function included making all calls for appointments, confirming all appointments one week prior, supplying financial advisors with any and all materials prior to the meeting, pertinent follow up in answering any outstanding questions and sending all thank you's in a timely fashion. On a daily basis, I also called every financial advisor who submitted business to thank them for their support of W. P. Carey's series of non-traded REITs.
