Daily Duties at Kentucky National Guard:
Helicopter pilot in command responsible for planning and executing law enforcement support missions throughout the state of Kentucky. Conduct pre-flight mission planning, safety checks, coordination and post-flight mission analysis. During flight provided mission support to law enforcement in various modes of flight (day, night, adverse weather) using specialized mission equipment (spotlight, camera, law enforcement radios). Coordinated with supported law enforcement on mission requests and ensured adequate resources (aircraft, personnel, fuel etc) were available.
