Daily Duties at Great Point Capital, Llc:

Monitored risk daily to determine which traders were within their buying power and max loss guidelines and adjusted accordingly. Status and cleared stuck orders and quotes from our firms servers and handled any other system and order issues that arose with firm traders. Reviewed compliance reports daily including odd lot, marking the close, etc. Issued fines and disciplined traders when needed. Scheduled exams and continuing education sessions. Performed routine technical support to traders on the Lightspeed and Realtick trading platforms and set up work stations for new traders and helped existing traders with any technical problems that occurred with their software/platform and any hardware related issues. Reviewed resumes, scheduled and administered testing for new incoming trader candidates. Handled many office manager responsibilities such as ordering supplies and coffee regularly and scheduled meetings between traders and partners. Maintained trader records and notes on traders in firm SQL database.
