Daily Duties at Basf:
Lead all producing activities. The scope of activities include: efficient operation of producing areas of the Quincy Plant. Lead activities that achieve site goals in the areas of production, productivity and quality improvements, and cost reduction. Provide leadership and direction to production assigned areas. Ensure that an efficient, safe, and environmentally responsible work environment is maintained. Work closely with other site departments in order to meet all site and business objectives. 1. Packaging products within approved specifications 2. Define process variables as they affect quality 3. Prepare and maintain process operating procedures to assure process quality control 4. Schedule process 5. Maintain good labor relations 6. Maintain good housekeeping practices 7. Identify cost improvement opportunities 8. Implement approved changes 9. Produce products within approved specifications 10. Monitor consumption of purchased materials 11. Maintain proper labor relations and implementation of contractual agreement 12. Maintain proper records for reporting and production data history 13. Meet delivery reliability of >85%. 14. Directs all aspects of safety within assigned areas. 15. Operate plant to conform to all government regulatory standards as directed
