Daily Duties at Maxim Staffing Solutions:

Utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care (Nursing process completed with all RN/Nursing jobs. Assumes the responsibility and accountability for delivery of patient care of hospice patients. Making clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner. Critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination of patient care. Identify specific patients’ needs and intervene as needed. Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in patient’s condition. Documents/Updates the patient’s plan of care using the identified nursing diagnoses, expected patient outcomes, and selected nursing interventions. Revises plan of care according to evaluation, changes in medical plan of care, effective/ineffective nursing interventions. Performs interventions according to identified priorities, plan of care, and the hospital policies and patient care outcome standard. Delegate tasks as needed to para-professionals and assist with care. Initiates and evaluates patient and/or family education. Provide a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic patient environment. Documents and re-evaluate the patient’s response to nursing treatments and interventions. Use clinical judgment in evaluation activities to meet patient care needs including establishing priorities. Supporting the patient’s needs and requests, keeping the patient comfortable and respecting the patient’s wishes. Being a Patient Advocate.
